Thank You ASBO International
I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to my ASBO International family and friends. Over the past 15 years, I have served you as the Executive Director of New Mexico ASBO. I have been extremely blessed to have our Affiliate Host ASBO Intl. and its Executive Director, John Musso, be there for us every step of the way. The entire staff of ASBO Intl. is always very helpful in providing the NMASBO staff and its membership with information, direction and resources that are so valuable in the day-to-day operation of our association.
We thank the many Past ASBO Presidents who took the time to come to New Mexico for our conferences over the past 15 years. Thank you Jerry Brendel, Angie Peterman, Terrie Simmons and John Musso, who is also a Past President of ASBO Intl. We are looking forward to another ASBO Past- President visitation at our fall conference from Jim Rowan, who is currently the Executive Director of Ohio ASBO. The knowledge and experience gained through networking with ASBO Intl. is a great opportunity and is invaluable to our association. Leadership over the years has always been positive and productive for the NMASBO Board of Directors and our membership.
To my fellow Affiliate Executive Director Group (AEDG): You are an amazing group of colleagues and life-long friends from all over the country and the world for whom I have the utmost respect. We have shared so many ideas and best practices over the years. We each bring back these best practices to our associations and then we tweak each others' ideas and best practices to fit our association and member needs. The AEDG are the most selfless group of professionals you will ever meet.
Thank you to my mentors: John Fung, Arizona; Gwen Santiago, Texas; Jay Himes, Pennsylvania; Denny Costerison, Indiana; Sue Lang, Alberta, Canada; each of you has always been there for me professionally and personally.
Last but not least, to every ASBO Intl. Strategic Partner, NMASBO Partner, Associate Member, vendor and exhibitor, your generous partnerships and endless contributions to School Business Professionals around the country have been amazing! We are all grateful and thankful.
