Friend of NMASBO
Frances Ramirez-Maestas was recognized with the “Friend of NMASO” award at our 2016 Winter Conference. Frances retired in December 2015 after serving as the Director of the Legislation Education Study Committee for many years. Prior to her time with LESC, she worked with LFC, DFA and PED. Frances was always a fierce defender of public education and took on many battles on behalf of NM schools. Her commitment and tenacity for fairness was evident in her actions.
Frances, NMASBO wishes you the very best in retirement and we will miss you. Thank you for serving the students of New Mexico and for being a friend of NMASBO.
