Once again, we are soliciting individuals interested in seeking a position on the NMASBO Board. The Board helps lead and set direction for the association. The actual election will be held at the 2016 Winter Conference at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Albuquerque on February 10 – 12.
This year, we will elect the Charter School Representative and considered representatives from Regions II, III, and IV. At this time, all current representatives have expressed interest in retaining positions on the board. To be slated for a position to serve on the NMASBO Board, you can review the requirements for Board Member eligibility in our bylaws on our web page at www.nmasbo.org.
If you are interested in running for a position on the board, email Joey and me by January 30th. This email will need to include a “head-shot” photo and a short bio. We will put your information in the candidate information email that is sent to the membership prior to the election.
