Durable by design:
digging deep with Volvo’s
largest ever excavator

Thursday 4 May 2017 saw the South African launch of Volvo Construction Equipment’s much-
anticipated 60-tonne A60H articulated dump truck (ADT) and 90-tonne EC950E crawler excavator
at regional distributor Babcock’s Middelburg facility. First unveiled at bauma 2016 in Germany, the
launch marked the first time the two mining machines are available for purchase in southern Africa.
Volvo CE’s EC950E crawler excavator is the largest excavator ever produced
by the Swedish construction equipment manufacturer.
