October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
The DoD/ODS Theme this year is “Learn the warning signs. Talk to us.
Help is available.” FAP staff will be conducting outreach throughout
the month at various locations including chow halls, clinic and the
MCX. Stop by to learn more about preventing domestic violence in
our community.

NATIONAL WEAR PURPLE DAY - 19 OCT
A national event that brings the opportunity to promote
awareness of domestic violence by wearing purple on 19
October. Long used as a symbol for seeking justice, the color
purple is our rallying color for survivors to reclaim their
power and for all of us to show our support. Who should
participate? Marines, civilians, family members, everyone.
