Family Advocacy Program (FAP)

FAP’s mission is to promote healthy military family development through the prevention, identification, and treatment of
intimate partner violence and child abuse and neglect. FAP stresses early intervention and education to protect victims
and increase family competencies.
TRIPLE P (POSITIVE PARENTING PROGRAM)

Half day seminar for parents with children ages 12
and younger. Topics include assertive discipline, tips
to improve your child’s cooperation and how to guide
children through strong emotions.
WARRIORS STRESS MANAGEMENT
Wed, 13 Mar, 0900-1530, BPAC
One day stress management class. Agenda includes
Four Lenses, Nutrition, Sleep Coaching, and Yoga/
Relaxation.
CO-PARENTING
Thur, 21 Mar, 0900-1500, LH, Classroom 2
One day workshop for individuals that are divorcing
or separating, but have the desire to establish a co-
parenting relationship. Topics include grief and loss,
ages and stages of development and how to begin
establishing a successful co-parenting relationship.
WITHIN MY REACH
Fri, 22 Mar, 0900-1600, LH, Classroom 2
One day workshop for individuals that want to learn
more about healthy relationships. Topics include
communication, your personal relationship vision and
the concept of “sliding versus deciding”. This is a great
workshop for single Marines or anyone wanting to
learn more about making slow and mindful relationship
decisions.

UNDERSTANDING PREGNANCY-
BREASTFEEDING
Fri, 1 Mar, 0830-1230
You will learn how breastfeeding works, when and how
much to feed, and more. This class is for expectant
moms and dads. Recommended for the last trimester
of pregnancy.
TODDLER TIME
Tue, 12 & 26 Mar, 0930-1100
Interactive playgroup for children ages 1-3 and their
parents. Enjoy meeting other parents in a child friendly
environment.

BABY AND ME

Network with other parents with newborns and infants.
Learn about infant stimulation, infant massage, infant
sign language, music and your baby, and other topic of
interest to parents with children ages 0-12 months old.
BABY BOOT CAMP
Fri, 15 Mar, 0800-1530
Learn about the first few months of your baby’s life
and the fulfillment of being a parent. Learn how to
diaper, bathe, dress, and feed a baby. Learn ways to
communicate with your baby, how to calm a fussy
baby, and when to call the doctor. Learn how positive
parenting is important for infant development. Focus on
what to expect when you bring your baby home. This
class is for both expectant moms and dads!
