FAP’s mission is to promote healthy military family development through the prevention, identification, and treatment of
intimate partner violence and child abuse and neglect. FAP stresses early intervention and education to protect victims
and increase family competencies.
WITHIN MY REACH

Open to active duty, retirees, and family members. This
class is for individuals who want to learn more about healthy
relationships and set relationship goals whether you are single,
married, dating, or divorced. Even if in a relationship, this class
is for individual learning and reflection. (Within Our Reach is also
offered for couples throughout the year.) Everything you wish you
knew about relationships before making major commitments.
COPING WITH WORK AND FAMILY STRESS

Open to active duty, retirees, and family members. Join us every
Tuesday to grow the tools in your stress management toolbox.
Topics discussed include, the stress cycle, how to better utilize
our support system, problem-solving, active coping skills, and
developing your own personal plan to better manage stress.
CENTURY ANGER MANAGEMENT

Open to active duty, retirees, and family members. This class
meets once a week for 8 weeks. Topics covered include:
empathy, stress, respond versus react, adjusting expectation,
assertive communication, self-talk, forgiveness, and how to take
effective time-outs.

BABY AND ME

Network with other parents with newborns and infants.
Learn about infant stimulation, infant massage, infant sign
language, music and your baby, and other topic of interest to
parents with children ages 0-12 months old.
UNDERSTANDING PREGNANCY:
BREASTFEEDING BASICS

Learn how to take care of yourself and your baby during
pregnancy. You will learn how breastfeeding works, when and
how much to feed, and so much more. Recommended for the
last trimester of pregnancy.
BABY BOOT CAMP

Learn about the first few months of your baby’s life and the
fulfillment of being a parent. Learn how to diaper, bathe, dress
and feed a baby. Learn ways to communicate with your baby,
how to calm a fussy baby, and when to call the doctor. Learn
how positive parenting is important for infant development.
Focus on what to expect when you bring your baby home.
This class is for both expectant moms and dads!
