FAP’s mission is to promote healthy military family development through the prevention, identification, and treatment of
intimate partner violence and child abuse and neglect. FAP stresses early intervention and education to protect victims
and increase family competencies.
WITHIN OUR REACH

A one-day workshop where couples will map out their relationship and future goals while improving their communication
skills and strengthening their relationship.
SAFE DATE INFO SESSION FOR PARENTS

This session is for parents of tweens, teens, educators, or other caregivers that have an interest in preventing teen dating
violence. Program outcome for parents include: increased knowledge of teen dating abuse, awareness of vulnerability,
and increased involvement in setting dating rules and guidelines. Program outcome for teens include: increased conflict
resolution skills, decreased likelihood of being a victim of dating abuse and increased communication with family.

UNDERSTANDING PREGNANCY:
BREASTFEEDING

You will learn how breastfeeding works, when and how
much to feed, and more. This class is for expectant
moms and dads. Recommended for the last trimester of
pregnancy.
INFANT MASSAGE CLASS
Every Tue, 5 Feb - 26 Feb, 1600-1700
Learn new ways to connect and bond with your baby
in the first year of life. Understand and respond to your
baby’s unique ways of communication. Learn techniques
on how to comfort, calm, soothe your baby and stimulate
your baby’s growth and development.
BABY AND ME
Tue, 12 & 26 Feb, 1300-1430
Network with other parents with newborns and infants.
Learn about infant stimulation, infant massage, infant

sign language, music and your baby, and other topic of
interest to parents with children ages 0-12 months old.
TODDLER TIME
Tue, 12 & 26 Feb, 0930-1100
Interactive playgroup for children ages 1-3 and their
parents. Enjoy meeting other parents in a child friendly
environment.
BABY BOOT CAMP
Fri, 22 Feb, 0800-1530
Learn about the first few months of your baby’s life
and the fulfillment of being a parent. Learn how to
diaper, bathe, dress, and feed a baby. Learn ways to
communicate with your baby, how to calm a fussy baby,
and when to call the doctor. Learn how positive parenting
is important for infant development. Focus on what to
expect when you bring your baby home. This class is for
both expectant moms and dads!
