Our mission is to promote healthy military family development through the prevention, identification, and treatment of
intimate partner violence and child abuse and neglect. FAP stresses early intervention and education to protect victims
and increase family competencies.
CO-PARENTING
19 JUL, 0900-1500, LITTLE HALL
A child-focused workshop exploring co-parenting techniques for parents that
are divorcing or separating. Workshop includes information about ages and
stages of development and how to develop a co-parenting relationship.
WARRIORS STRESS MANAGEMENT
25 JUL, 0900-1530, BPAC
A one-day workshop exploring various stress management tools including
Four Lenses, stress 101, nutrition, strategies for improved sleep, yoga,
breathing and relaxation techniques. This workshop is a collaboration with
MCCS Behavioral Health, Marine Corps Family Team Building and Semper Fit.
New Parent Support Program (NPSP)

UNDERSTANDING PREGNANCY: BREASTFEEDING
6 JUL, 0830-1230
Learn how to take care of yourself and your baby during pregnancy. In class
#1, the focus is on breastfeeding. Class #2 focuses on labor preparation,
including relaxation and breathing. Come to one or both classes. 1-2-3 MAGIC

Network with other parents with newborns and infants. Learn about Infant
stimulation, infant massage, infant sign language, music and your baby, and
other topic of interest to parents with children ages 0-12 months old.
TODDLER TIME

Interactive playgroup for children ages 1-3 and their parents. Enjoy meeting
other parents in a child friendly environment. BABY BOOT CAMP

Learn about the first few months of your baby’s life and the fulfillment of being
a parent. Learn how to diaper, bath, dress and feed a baby. Learn ways to
communicate with your baby, how to calm a fussy baby, and when to call the
doctor.
EFFECTS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ON CHILDREN

Learn the behavioral, social, and emotional effects of family violence on
children. Learn encouraging ways to help children heal and build strong and
healthy relationships.
