MICROSOFT ANNOUNCES LAUNCH OF MICROSOFT SOFTWARE & SYSTEMS ACADEMY TUESDAYS , 1200-1230 Starting 8 January , 2018 Microsoft Military Affairs and Embry Riddle Aeronautical University will launch their cornerstone program , Microsoft Software and Systems Academy ( MSSA ) as a new SkillBridge program at Quantico to help service members gain the critical technology skills required for today ’ s high paying IT STEM careers prior to transitioning to civilian life . MSSA is an 18-week program that provides active duty service members and veterans with the necessary career skills to meet the information technology industry ’ s demand for server and cloud administration , database and business intelligence administration , cloud application development , and cyber security administrators . The program is also one of few industry programs that trains active-duty U . S . service members for IT jobs . Call for more information .
CONTRACTING AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT The Contracting and Project Management workshop will overview the federal acquisition process as it applies to Project Managers . As well , the workshop details the roles of the contracting officer and project manager in terms of their interrelated responsibilities . Call the VEC for more information .
