TROOPS TO TEACHERS WORKSHOP

The Virginia Department of Education is committed to
helping military veterans become teachers. A $400,000
grant was awarded by the Defense Activity for
Non-Traditional Education Support (DANTES), to provide
assistance to eligible veterans who want to pursue teaching
careers in Virginia. The grant also established the Troops to
Teachers Center in the School of Education at the College
of William & Mary. Please join representatives from Old
Dominion University and the Virginia Troops to Teachers
Center at the College of William and Mary as they provide
teaching certification resources and information to
veterans and spouses on 7 February from 1000-1100
at the Education Center, 3089 ODU Rm 1 Roan Street.
