FAP mission is to promote healthy military family development through the prevention, identification, and treatment of
intimate partner violence and child abuse and neglect. FAP stresses early intervention and education to protect victims
and increase family competencies.
COPING WITH WORK AND FAMILY STRESS

Grow the tools in your stress management toolbox. Topics discussed
include, the stress cycle, how to better utilize our support system,
problem-solving, active coping skills, and developing your own
personal plan to better manage stress.

PROGRAM)

CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER TRAINING ROOM
Open to Active Duty, retirees and their Family Members. This seminar
series is for parents with children ages 0-12. Topics covered include
positive and assertive discipline, helping our children become better
problem solvers and more independent, and how to assist with
difficult emotions.
MARRIED AND LOVING IT
10 AUG, 0900-1530, LITTLE HALL CR 2
Open to Active Duty and their Family Members. Join us for this one-
day workshop where we will discuss communication, finances, conflict
management and everyday decisions.
WITHIN MY REACH

This class is for individuals who want to learn more about healthy
relationships and set relationship goals whether single, married,
dating, or divorced. Even if in a relationship, this class is for individual
learning and reflection.
New Parent Support Program (NPSP)

SAFETY SQUAD
3 AUG, 0900-1130
Helping you and your child learn about safety through story time,
interactive play, songs, and live demonstrations.
INFANT MASSAGE CLASS
7, 14, 21, 28 AUG, 1600-1700
Learn new ways to connect and bond with your baby in the first year of
life. Learn techniques on how to comfort, calm, soothe your baby, and
stimulate your baby’s growth & development.
TODDLER TIME
14 & 28 AUG, 0930-1100
Interactive playgroup for children ages 1-3 and their parents. Enjoy
meeting other parents in a child friendly environment.
BABY AND ME
14 & 28 AUG, 1300-1430
Network with other parents with newborns and infants. Learn about
Infant stimulation, infant massage, infant sign language, music and
your baby, and other topic of interest to parents with children ages
0-12 months old.

BABY BOOTCAMP
17 AUG, 0800-1530
Learn about the first few months of your baby’s life and the fulfillment
of being a parent. Learn how to diaper, bath, dress and feed a baby.
Learn ways to communicate with your baby, how to calm a fussy baby,
and when to call the doctor. This class is for both expectant moms and
dads!
UNDERSTANDING PREGNANCY: BREASTFEEDING
24 AUG, 0830-1230
Learn how to take care of yourself and your baby during pregnancy.
In class #1, the focus is on breastfeeding. Class #2 focuses on
labor preparation, including relaxation and breathing. Come to one
or both classes. Both classes are for expectant moms and dads!
Recommended for the last trimester of pregnancy.
