School Liaison (SL) 2034 Barnett Ave, Quantico, 703-784-4729 Email: [email protected] The School Liaison Program (SLP) at Marine Corps Base Quantico is a great resource for military families with children in grades K-12. Our program assists military families with information and resources on Virginia K-12 education. In addition to family services, the SLP collaborates with different schools in the area to support their mission of educating both military and civilian students. We also work closely with the Virginia Department of Education to improve policies affecting the education and graduation rates of incoming military students. The 2017-2018 Adopt a School Program is in full swing and the School Liaison Program needs your help to make it a success. During the school year, any interested service member can sign up to volunteer at one of our local school serving Marine Corps Base Quantico. There is typically one volunteer opportunity per week (Fridays) at a school in the following school systems; Fredericksburg City, Spotsylvania County, Stafford County, and Prince William County.
