TAKING QUALITY
ENHANCEMENT FURTHER
Throughout 2014-15, as one of three pilot
colleges selected by the Scottish Funding
Council, the College developed a new
approach to quality enhancement and
assurance. The parameters of the pilot were
to enable colleges to create a regional
approach to evaluate themselves, removing
the requirement for formal external reviews
from Education Scotland. The foundations
of this regional approach were integration,
ownership and challenge.
