BA/BA (Hons)
Marketing Management*
Look at organisations as diverse
as PizzaExpress and Pixar,
Manchester United and Mencap,
and one thing that they all have
in common is a team of
professional marketing
managers who understand how
to connect people with what
their organisation does. This
course will prepare you with the
knowledge, skills and confidence
that you need to join their ranks.
Marketing is a vital management function.
It drives success for businesses, charities,
governments and community groups. But
exactly how do organisations use
marketing to communicate with their
customers? What is the science behind
the art of selling? How can this be
improved?
On this course you will learn the theory
and practical skills that you need to
answer those questions.
In Year One you will gain a thorough
grounding in the key fields of economics,
marketing, business, finance and
accounting, management and
entrepreneurship.
Year Two will take you deeper into
marketing and operations management
while covering the very useful topics of
negotiation and digital business.
In Years Three and Four you can focus
your studies on the areas you are most
passionate about.
This exciting new course will
teach you the theory and
practical management skills
that you need to become a
marketing leader in the
organisations of tomorrow.
Year Three
Structure
You can choose to study an honours
degree over four years or an ordinary
degree over three.

and small group discussions. Outside
these formally timetabled sessions you
will be expected to continue learning
through self-study. You will be assessed
through a range of formats such as
