His Highness Shaikh Mohammed Bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, the Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the
Supreme Council for the Development of Education and Training received the Chairman of the BQA Board
of Directors, the Chief Executive and the Organizing Committee of the 2017 INQAAHE Conference and
the UNESCO Regional Meeting:
Our wise leadership that believes that the quality of education and training is the gateway to prosperity
and development, has been the driving force behind the Bahrain’s global notable status and reputation in
the quality assurance in higher education.

Bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, the Deputy
Prime Minister and Chairman
of the Supreme Council for the
Development of Education and
Training in the Kingdom of Bahrain
received Mr. Abdul Aziz Bin
Mohammed Al Fadhel, the Chairman
of the BQA Board of Directors, Dr.
Jawaher Al Mudhahki, BQA Chief
Executive and the Authority’s senior
staff at his office in Al Qudaibiya
Palace.
During the meeting, His Highness
expressed his thanks and gratitude
to the remarkable efforts of the
Chairman of the Authority’s Board
of Directors, the Chief Executive and
senior management. His Highness
also praised the Authority’s great
efforts in organizing the 2017
INQAAHE Conference and its topics
and themes. Shaikh Mohammed
Bin Mubarak Al Khalifa stressed
the importance of the benefit of
such conferences and use of their
outcomes as a platform to apply
the best practices and plans to
enhance the Authority’s mandate to
keep abreast with the world latest
standards in higher education. On
his part, Mr. Al Fadhel extended his
sincere thanks to His Highness Shaikh
Mohammed Bin Mubarak Al Khalifa,
for his continuous support and
follow-up of the Authority’s efforts in
developing education and training
sectors across the Kingdom of
Bahrain. Dr. Al Mudhahki paid tribute
to the Bahrain’s wise leadership that
has been the driving force behind
the leading Reform Project, of which
quality education and training has a
substantial portion.
It is the happiness that engulfs
us upon realizing our lofty
aspirations for raising the flag of
our beloved homeland. The visit
of the Authority’s delegation to His
Highness Shaikh Mohammed Bin
Mubarak Al Khalifa, the Deputy
Prime Minister and Chairman
of the Supreme Council for
the Development of Education
and Training in the Kingdom of
Bahrain, chaired by Mr. Abdul Aziz
Bin Mohammed Al Fadhel, the
Chairman of the BQA Board of
Directors, to thank His Highness
for his patronage of the 2017
INQAAHE Conference and the
UNESCO Regional Meeting in
Quality Assurance in Higher
Education in the Arab States that
were held under His Highness
auspices during the period from
28 February to 2 March 2017, was
a moral boost to the Authority
and its staff members to continue
on the right path that has been
shaped carefully and efficiently to
be “the watchful eye’ as quoted by
His Highness Shaikh Mohammed
Bin Mubarak Al Khalifa.
The words of praise and
appreciation that have been
given to the Authority and its staff
members will continue to be an
inspiration and a motive for us to
exert more efforts in the field of
quality of education and training
so as the Kingdom of Bahrain will
remain the leader in this field at
the regional level and an effective
member at the international level.
The support of the wise leadership
to the Authority is highlighted
in this Issue 4 of the “Q GATE”.
BQA is a leader in the field of
quality of education and training.
It has become a destination for
many authorities and institutions
operating in this field. This is
to benefit and inspire from its
national model of excellence and
strength, which would not have
been achieved had it not been for
the vision of our wise leadership
to make the quality education the
first, second and third objective
and goal. Quality education makes
man, builds glory, and prospers
the homeland.
