What is the application process for each Inn?
Middle Temple
Application documents consist of:
1. Application Form. (downloadable from Website)
2. Signed and dated Admission Declaration Form.
3. Your CV
4. Two Certificates of Good Character from referees. (Should be from people of standing: e.g. former tutors, employers etc.)
5. Bar Council Form. (Schedule MT 1)
6. A certified letter from your university stating that you are currently studying for a law degree.
7. Certified copy of your birth certificate, passport or identity card.
8. Data Protection and Communication Preferences Forms
9. Equality and Diversity Monitoring Questionnaire.
Cost of application: £105 one-off payment by debit or credit card. Possible by cheque or money order.

Method: Admission forms must be downloaded, completed, signed, dated and returned by hard copy postage only!
*Please do note that Middle Temple is transitioning to an online application process. In the meantime applications for membership would require the completion of the hard
