My New Year's Prayer

Help Me To:

~ Study Your Word: Psalm 119:18

Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in your law.

~ Listen to Your Voice: Proverbs 8:32-34

“Now then, my children, listen to me; blessed are those who keep my ways. Listen to my

instruction and be wise; do not disregard it. Blessed are those who listen to me,

watching daily at my doors, waiting at my doorway."

~ Forget What's Behind: Philippians 3:13-14

Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I

do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the

goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

~ Enjoy Your Love: Ephesian 3:17-19

so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted

and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to

grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love

that surpasses knowledge that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a

living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not

conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and

perfect will.

Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against

someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from

all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his

word is not in us.

~Walk In Your Purposes: Ephesian 2:10

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God

prepared in advance for us to do.
