TRUTH BE TOLD — shopping really isn ’ t my thing . Maybe it ’ s because of all the years I spent working retail at Nordstrom through the holidays . Frankly , I don ’ t even like to grocery shop . My sister loves to go to the grocery and go up and down each aisle and explore things . Shasta Daisy that makes me crazy . Kroger Clicklist is my most favorite thing ever for that very reason — we have used it exclusively since COVID-19 hit . If I have to shop , at least I can make the process as convenient as possible .
Auctions , on the other hand , are a different story . An auction doesn ’ t really feel like shopping because you don ’ t just acquire items , you actually win them — the thrill of the battle must ignite my competitive spirit . I even missed decorating for the ISPA Auction during Conference this year — creating that display is always therapeutic and super fun .
And though I may have to wait a little while longer to decorate our next auction display , our next auction itself is just around the corner . Later this month , we ’ re rolling out our first-ever ISPA Mini Holiday Auction via Handbid , and we couldn ’ t be more excited !
