SEE + BE SEEN Harvey Helpers. After witnessing the devastating effects that took place in Houston and south Texas following Hurricane Harvey, Delia McLinden (VP, Sales, FarmHouse Fresh) and Shawna Dahl (Director of Business Development, Sothy’s USA) connected via a midnight text message over their despair of all the animals that needed help. Both women felt strongly that they wanted to mobilize into an action plan. FarmHouse Fresh stepped up to fund and assist in the major cross-country transport of 50 abandoned dogs from Hurricane Harvey affected areas in Texas to Minnesota to help them find secure, loving, lifelong homes. Following the 20-plus hour journey north, a team of 30 Minnesota volunteers, mobilized by Dahl, was waiting with leashes, bowls of food and water, and treats. The 50 rescued dogs are now up for adoption while being housed in foster homes and in several state-of-the-art, no-kill shelters in Minnesota. Feature Film.
