ISPA kicked off the new
millennium in style, hosting the
ISPA Conference & Expo in
Las Vegas for the very first time.
IT’S A LOCATION THAT ISPA HAS RETURNED TO FREQUENTLY SINCE. Two other
important milestones happened shortly after Y2K: experienceispa.com was
launched, and the first ever ISPA U.S. Spa Industry Study was released.
This study, initially led by Bjorn Hansen at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC),
established the “Big Five” indicators and set the template for future studies.
