Benchmark Hospitality, of The Woodlands, Texas, has named Curtis T. Bova Director of Sales & Marketing. The company also announced Thomas J. Walker as the new Director of Sales for Cheyenne Mountain Resort, located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Hong Kong’s Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts has appointed Steven Taylor as its Chief Marketing Officer. Abigail Rose is now the Regional Account Manager for the Mountain West region of the U.S. for Phytomer Corporation, based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., of Stamford, Connecticut, has announced Amanda Roman Al-Masri as the company’s Global Director of Spa Development and Operations. Located in Indianapolis, Indiana, ilike organic skin care from Szep Elet has brought on Scott Cowdrey as Director of Spa Business Development. Kim Matheson is now the Senior Vice President of International Development for Rockville, Maryland’s WTS International. Salamander Resort & Spa, of Middleburg, Virginia, has appointed Jeremy Baldwin as its new Cluster Director for Revenue Management for Palm Coast, Florida’s Hammock Beach Resort and another property. Jeremy Baldwin OPEN FOR BUSINESS 1. Florida’s Polo Club of Boca Raton held a Renovation Celebration to showcase 1 its recent US$27 million transformation. Renovations provided the property, including the Spa and Fitness Center, with a new, open, fresher and more modern aesthetic. 2. Four Seasons Dallas has announced the debut of its new sports facility and 2 spa, Well & Being at Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Los Colinas. The nearly 185,000-square-foot facility includes US$3.5 million renovations to the sports and spa facilities. Among its other additions are three new workout studios and a custom-designed clinic space. 3. South Carolina’s Hilton Head Health has announced the opening of its brandnew spa, The Indigo. Hilton Head Health intends to enhance its attendees’ journeys with this 2,812-square-foot facility, offering more than 50 carefully designed spa treatments. 3 4. Spa Biltmore, of Phoenix, Arizona, has been transformed via a complete remodel. The spa has not only seen aesthetic remodeling, but the treatment menu has also been enhanced.
