Despite the emphasis that spas
around the world have placed
on using green, natural and
clean products in their treatments, most
still use the same cleaners and disinfectants
they always have. Hugh Huffaker,
CEO of Clean Republic, began to wonder
why there wasn’t a better, more natural

a way to stabilize hypochlorous acid in
solution so that it could be stored in bottles.
The only ingredients are water and
salt, which is then electrified with a
high-energy current to create hypochlorous
acid. The result is an extremely effective
cleaner that kills even notorious
C-diff bacteria in less than a minute.
