l Physical distancing reflected in meeting room capacities and floor plans , food service seating areas , prefunction spaces , etc .
l Frequent communication with the ISPA team about any changes to existing or new strategies to be implemented .
Food and beverage is another hot topic of conversation for live events in regards to how is it executed safely . ISPA and Aventura Catering are working together to deliver the same high-quality meals our attendees are used to . While the setup and presentation may look different , attendees should be able to relax a bit knowing protective strategies are in place . Some changes that may be seen are the use of compostable materials rather than china , sneeze guards , more pre-packaged items , physical distanced seating , more pre-packaged items , and physically distanced seating , among others .
During the pandemic , the ISPA team has also been focused on every change and shift being made and identified a silver lining for each . COVID-19 may have
forced noticeable adjustments to the 2021 ISPA Expo ; however , each of those changes will positively impact the safety and experience of our attendees and exhibitors . Here ’ s a sneak peek at a few of the Expo enhancements you ’ ll see in Phoenix :
l A more socially distanced floorplan with at least six feet between all booths on all sides
l The addition of dedicated exit and entry doors to help manage traffic flow
l Widened aisles to approximately 15 feet to allow for distanced two-way traffic
l No aisle carpet to provide a noticeable entry into booth spaces and an easier surface to sanitize
l Hand sanitizer stations located throughout the Expo hall
l Touchless water bottle fill stations During the next few months , attendees will be provided with more detailed information on actions ISPA and the Convention Center are taking as we adjust to the everchanging world around us . As most can imagine , event planning during a pandemic has been and will continue to be one roller coaster of a ride .
