The 14th annual Global Wellness Summit was the first conference held at The Breakers since the COVID-19 outbreak . It was also the first time the Summit hosted an event attended by in-person delegates and hundreds of virtual attendees from around the world .
Richard Carmona , MD , the 17th U . S . surgeon general and chief of health innovations for at Canyon Ranch , served as the GWS medical advisor and helped ensure a safe conference .
Attendees enjoyed unique wellness offerings during the event sessions while maintaining safe physical distancing .
