P: In your mind, what makes a person or company an innovator? E: An innovator is someone who disrupts or challenges the current space with a new product or service, or who rethinks an existing product or service to make it much better. P: Where do you see the future of the spa industry heading and how do you hope Zeel will be a part of that? E: While therapeutic touch will always be essential to the spa industry, I foresee technology—both in the form of gadgets and devices, and also software and hardware—becoming more prevalent in the industry, including Zeel’s award-winning on- demand staffing solution. P: What are some of Zeel’s goals for 2018? E: Zeel plans to continue its rapid growth delivering spa-quality massages to customers in their homes, hotels, and offices, while continuing to expand our on-demand staffing solution for spas to more properties in more cities across the U.S. P: What would you consider to be the hardest part of your work? How do you overcome these challenges? E: Zeel Spa has been experiencing exponential growth since we started in 2015. While keeping up with demand can sometimes be challenging, we focus on continually finding top-quality, licensed, insured, and experienced massage therapists to work with. P: What is the most rewarding part of your work? E: Hearing positive and meaningful feedback about how we help our spa partners exceed their revenue goals, and how much massage therapists enjoy working with us is the most fulfilling part of my work. n get to Know david edwards What is your favorite social media outlet? youTube What is your favorite spa treatment?
