The 1997 Conference—hosted in Banff, Alberta—was the last time the ISPA
Conference & Expo was held outside the U.S.
1998 featured booths from many long-time Expo
mainstays, including TouchAmerica Inc., Kerstin Florian
International and Living Earth Crafts.
In 1999, Hurricane Dennis threatened disrupting the
festivities. The storm veered north, however, missing
Florida and allowing Conference to proceed as planned.
