snapshot survey for february’s Snapshot Survey, we asked our members about the how, who, what and why of philanthropy. open- ended questions highlighted creative philanthropic ideas, best practices for selecting donation requests and the most effective charitable events from the past year. only 13 percent of respondents said they do not partner with any non-profit organizations. The overwhelming majority (74 percent) partner with local non-profits. among all respondents, 68 percent promote philanthropic events for their teams to participate in together; 73 percent of resort spas do this, versus 59 percent of day spas. When it comes to donating to community organizations, 45 percent of respondents budget for these expenses, and 59 percent have a team member who manages donation requests.
