Oh, sweet relief. It’s safe to go outside again. Gone are the days of sweaty… everything. Autumn is here and Shanghai is beautiful once more. Perfect for sitting outside and reading, oh I don’t know, issue 7 of PULP. And what an issue it is… This month we hung out with pretty much the coolest people, like, ever, including Robert Glasper, who’s headlining the JZ Festival alongside Mos Def (need I say more?) Dave K, who is awesome on practically every level, and P.K.14, who are all deep and philosophical and stuff. I think it’s probably fair to say that we’re BFFs with ALL of them now. We also spent some time at a homeless shelter in Pudong where we learnt a little about a very different side of Shanghai. All of that, plus film stuff, flash fiction from HAL, art pages galore and a hilarious ‘And Finally’ squeezed into our pint-sized mag? Do we spoil you, or do we spoil you?
