Whether you’ve been here for 5 minutes or 5 years, it only takes about 30 seconds to suss out where to go for a decent night out. The blogosphere is always buzzing about how to get your comic book fix in Shanghai, and it seems this is the place to go. The market is a haven for second-hand books and comics, and you’ll also find places nearby that sell collectables. Located at 215 Wenmiao Lu, near Zhonghua Lu, it is open on Sunday between 7.30am and 3pm. around ? If board games are what float your boat, head to Game Harbor on Siping Road. It’s small but you’ll find some really awesome stuff there, and the staff are friendly too. They won’t judge you for getting giddy over Munchkin Quest or The Donkey Kong collector’s edition of Jenga: they will rejoice in your excitement. the ? Now that you have an arsenal of games, you might need a buddy to play with. Go to Raffles City near People’s Square, where there are more games cafes than you can shake a light sabre at, and where all of your dork-dreams can and probably will come true. ?
