Step 1: A thin layer of sand is added first, this will
help bed the large rocks. When using very large
rocks in bigger displays, it will be safer to bed the
rocks on a thin piece of polystyrene, or something
similar.
Step 2: The rocks are carefully added to the tank.
Position the rocks using a guide called the golden
ratio, or rule of third, making the arrangement
more aesthetically pleasing.
