PRESBYTERIAN NIGHT SHELTER/TRUE WORTH PLACE Social Issue Focus: Homelessness, Poverty Mission: Presbyterian Night Shelter is a fully integrated organization with a 360-degree approach to ending homelessness in Tarrant County and has grown into a six-acre campus that serves 670 people per day. Through True Worth Place, its day shelter that provides access to daily necessities, employment, education, and health care opportunities, and Clean Slate, its employment social enterprise, Presbyterian Night Shelter and its programs empower those who are homeless to become self-sufficient.  INTERNSHIP FOCUS AREAS: DEVELOPMENT/FUNDRAISING MARKETING SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIAL EVENTS VOLUNTEER MANAGEMENT PAGE 13 The intern will: Provide support to Development Team, including Vice President of Development, Director of True Worth Place, Director of Communications and Community Engagement Coordinator Assist with public relations/media inquiries Assist with appeals, marketing, & social media Coordinate special events/activities Communicate with volunteers Help manage in-kind donation process Assist in establishing a best practice volunteer calendar and tracking system
