I believe that the Industrial & Manufacturing is a major breakthrough in Engineering Field that
has several distinguishing factors from other disciplines. This discipline has broader horizon
and students can explore into technical, managerial and supply chain opportunities. The
students should take best advantage out of this, not limit their aim as per the traditional
opportunities associated with the mechanical discipline only. Fresh graduates should focus
on their strengths, set their ambitions accordingly, work on the bridging factors to achieve
their goals. I am hopeful that PSIE will play its part to address issues of IE.
