NEW MINISTRY OFFICES
I
n 2010, we purchased a house and rezoned it for
our office needs. It had enough land to expand and
we planned to occupy the building for a long time,
but God had other plans. In 2014, we learned that the
state would be taking land in front and behind the
house for road and railway expansion. In 2017, the road
construction became a reality and we were forced to
look for alternative office space. We began to pray for a
new office facility. Often prices were too high, funds too
low and the timing not quite right. After three years of
praying, a surprising door opened for us to occupy the
space formerly occupied by the Lee University Charlotte
extension.
The new location, in northeast Charlotte includes
two training rooms, ample offices, room for a video
suite, a call center, a prayer room, and more. Thanks be
to God!
I am also grateful to three of my grandsons – Reagan,
Coleton, and Jack – all interning with me last summer
who were great extra hands in this season of transition.
God knew we needed help.
On September 5, we hosted a fantastic open house
with partners, friends and special guests joining us to
consecrate the space for its new purpose.
We celebrate God’s gracious provision. If you live
in the area or are visiting North Carolina, we invite you
stop-in for the grand tour. 8600 William Ficklen Drive,
