Learn basic crochet and knitting
stitches, and develop skills to
undertake more complicated patterns
that can be used to produce beautiful
items of clothing and homeware. Some
wool will be provided to start you off,
but please bring your own knitting and
crochet needles. Advice will be given at
the first class on materials to be
purchased by participants (with
possible discount).
A course that covers the basics of
drawing and painting that helps the
student/artist build a body of work,
and that provides opportunities to
develop and explore a personal vision
through art. This class will suit all levels
of ability.

refresh their drawing skills and for

These classes will focus on the wet-onwet technique used with oils. We will
look at incorporating this technique for
painting landscapes, working
particularly on colour blending, brush
techniques, composition, layering, light
placement and colour mixing. Suitable
for both beginners and improvers.
Bring a high-quality image of a
landscape that inspires you. Materials
are not included but a list of what you
will need will be emailed in advance.
Pieces cannot be stored in the Crescent
between classes.
