participants what Absurdist Drama is,
have a critical look at some examples
of absurdist plays (including Samuel
Beckett, Harold Pinter and Eugene
Ionesco), and explore scenes from
some classic plays from the genre.

auditions or performance by learning
how to approach, analyse and deliver a
monologue. This workshop for actors
will teach practical skills as you develop
your speech step by step. Bring two
copies of a chosen speech if you have
one, but Rosie will also supply a
selection of pieces. Rosie is a classically
trained actor, who runs many classes at
the Crescent and on the QUB Drama
degree.
