Lynn Sherman has worked in many roles to improve the city of Jacksonville . Lynn is the Director of Social Responsibility and Community Health for Baptist where she has worked for the past 34 years . She is seeking to expand her network of service to the people of Jacksonville by bring fresh leadership with new ideas and concepts as their new city council representative for district 8 .
I am running for the office of City Council District 8 because I love Jacksonville and want to see it become THE destination for its citizens . A city that offers the quality of life that people expect and deserve as they live , work , play and raise their children . As a servant leader , my responsibility on the City Council will be to reflect the diversity of the individuals and families in District 8 - My home where I live
Jacksonville has significant challenges in the coming years and I want to go beyond the expectations of the District 8 community and be a change agent for success .
