This Event Is Nothing To Whine About The staff of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida ( BGCNF ) are tipping off every glass of full pours of wine at this evening spent strolling through an Italian countryside which ( before being decorated ) most know as the UNF University Center . The center will be a beautiful location for the event because the venue has ballrooms inside and a deck over the water outside with a backdrop of its nature preserve . On June 10th from 6pm-10pm hundreds of guests will enjoy wine , fresh hors d ’ oeuvres , music , dancing to the rhythmic beats of a steel drummer , and a celebration in the achievements made for our youth ! Tickets are $ 75 a person and dress is business casual .
The BGCNF is an affiliate of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America . BGCNF has played an integral role in Jacksonville for nearly 50 years . The mission of the BGCNF is to inspire all young people , especially those who need us the most , to realize their full potential as productive , responsible , and caring citizens . The staff at the BGCNF agrees with Franklin Roosevelt when he said , “ We believe you cannot always build the future for our youth but we can build our youth for the future !” We hope you will join us to celebrate all the good our 10 club locations are doing to promote and enhance the development of boys and girls by instilling a sense of competence , usefulness , belonging , and influence .
