PROGRAM SUCCESS – MARCH 2010
Inspired By Love
I’ve been Redeem
(Therefore I Give Back)
By Isaac E. Williams,
President, Inspired By Love
of North Florida, Inc.
Do to the life I chose to live of drugs, by selling and using, I
found myself on lock down, doing hard time in Prison, but it
turned out to be a good thing in order for me to turn my life
around. Ten years ago today, I was released from the Florida
Department of Corrections. Guilty as charged of Armed
Robbery with a deadly weapon and the sentence carried 35-
to-life. I received only 15 years with 3 years mandatory.
Due to isolation, I had plenty
of time to read, study, seek
and eat of God’s word. Eight
years, 9 months and 22 days
behind the wall. God spoke
clearly to me and answered
my
prayer
thorough
(Jeremiah 29:11); For I know
the thoughts that I think
toward you, saith the LORD,
thoughts of peace, and not of
evil, to give you an expected
end. (Jer 29:12); Then shall
ye call upon me, and ye shall
go and pray unto me, and I
will hearken unto you. (Jer 29:13); And ye shall see me, and
find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. (Jer
29:14) And I will be found of you, saith the LORD: and I
will turn away your captivity.
I’m a free man, with voting rights restored, and able to come
and go without restraints or permission from an officer.
Now, I’m living to give God the praise for my life. God is
truly looking for men that have been counted off as dead. Be
strong my brothers and sisters, God is not dead; he’s alive
and still has all power to do anything but FAIL.
Since my release from prison I sat out to try and make a
difference for others that had the same path as me. So, I
established in January 2006 an organization to assist
formerly incarcerated men and women transition back into
the community. Our program offer social and spiritual
support in their integration. Inspired by Love of N. FL.
(IBL), was established in Tallahassee and is a non-profit
organization, which is in need of funding so that we may

continue doing the work I feel God has lead me to
do.
Current we are supported by funds received from
the sale of art created by former inmates and from
donations received from businesses and
individuals.
Our mission is to help build self-worth, providing a positive
direction for inmates. We visit prisons throughout North
Florida region on a weekly base. I started this organization
out of a sense of duty, inspired by my own personal
experiences and to meet some very important needs of
inmates not being met. I am firmly committed and believe if
you take the time to encourage others that they too can make
a difference, and have a better chance of achieving positive
change.
I
oversee
all
the
administrative
and
operational aspects of IBL,
and have the responsibility
for implementing program
services to current and ex-
offenders.
Presently, I’m employed
with Walker Collision
Repair Shop, as Service
Tech/Porter.
I
was
employed with Tallahassee
Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep
Company,
as
Service
Advisor and the Detail Center Manager for 8 years.
I was born in Tallahassee, Florida, raised in Midway, Florida.
