Dream Come True Angel ' s Inc . ( DCTAI ) and Jayla ' s Smile Inc . ( JSI ) have partnered to host the Play , Learn , and Grow Back to School Event . This will take place at one of the largest centralized outdoor venues in Jacksonville ,
Metropolitan Park , Saturday - August 9 , 2014 10:00 a . m . - 2:00 p . m .
The purpose of our fundraising event is to provide 2,500 of the inner city youth with the necessary items and tools needed to begin the school year on a positive note .
Our goal is to provide 2,500 Angels Bags & 2,500 Backpack with School Supplies totaling 5,000 bags to be given .
In order to meet the needs of the children we need your support . We are asking for In-Kind donations of school supplies , clothing , and undergarments to be collected to help make this event a success . We are asking for contributions from Businesses that have the capacity to give the items or to make monetary donations to assist with the purchases needed . We want to have as many children returning to school with the basic needs met and not the pressure of financially not being able to afford school clothes and supplies . As a contributing sponsor your donation will be recognized via all communications provided during the event . We feel it is important for the community in attendance to know what businesses are supporting in the better outcome of our children .
