scavenger hunt all around the zoo, giraffe feeding, carousel ride, and
a yummy snack. The program is limited to 100 people, so be sure to
register early.

97. In 1976, when Stuart Sellinger visited Yad Vashem in Israel, he
read a letter from the US about why the US could not bomb the Aus-
chwitz railway. Since then, Stuart has immersed himself in learning
about the Holocaust. He has studied at Yad Vashem and taught teachers
on the subject. During this 6-week session, we will study the Holocaust
and consider how we make the statement “NEVER AGAIN” a reality.

sion, we will tour the JCC Sculpture Garden together, learning what

90. Explore Nature through the art of tracking. Discover some of the
basics of tracking by identifying feline, canine, and other mammal
tracks. Hear how biologists, naturalists, and citizen scientists are using
wildlife tracking to assist in conservation efforts around Tucson. 101. Discover the joy of portraiture and dispel the myth that it is
harder than other subjects. You will learn: proportions, how to render
features, how to create soft, believable hair, improve your drawing skills,
how to mix skin tones, and overall painting skills.
91. This interactive workshop explores various projects with animal
communication. We explore teaching animals to use our methods, as
well as learning how to connect on their terms. 102. ECE children are paired up with JCare children to help take care
of the garden together. The J Garden Crew will spend time maintaining
and harvesting ECE & JCare plots in the Shea Shea Garden and par-
ticipate in this mitzvah (commandment) through crafts, recipes, and a
variety of other projects.
92. We will separate fact from fiction and explore the world of owls, in-
cluding their habitats, diet, identification, and conservation. Since owls
are not often seen, we also will focus on their vocalisations - sound is
often the only way we know of these birds’ presence.

age appropriate physical activities such as games, obstacle courses, or
