LEARN SWIM J RAY SWIM SCHOOL from March - October PRIVATE LESSONS year round PARENT & ME Ages 6 months - 3 years Primary Goals: • Building trust without tears Also Includes: • Supported back float • Independence • Jumps on cue Primary Goals: • Put face in water • Swim with assistance Also Includes: • Entering & exiting • Pool rules & safety • Complete submersion • Relaxed “sleepy float” • Assisted rollover • Kicking with help Primary Goal: • Swim freestyle & backstroke the length of pool Also Includes: • Constructive play • Streamline & glide off wall • Streamline with flutter kick • Bubbles while propelling • Coordination of arm strokes • Introduction to side breathing • Bubbles • Monkey walk on wall Primary Goal: • Swim & roll on back/float, roll back over & swim again 25 feet Also Includes: • Unsupported back float • Glide with kick • Jump in & swim back to wall • Retrieve objects underwater • Elementary backstroke • Swim, float, swim (pool length) Primary Goal: • Work endurance of strokes • Perfect front & back swims at distance of 50 yards with rest Also Includes: • Basic safety skills • Arm stroke with side breathing • One length backstroke • Introduction to breast stroke, dolphin kick & turns 11
