This year’s MPavilion is designed by influential
Indian architect Bijoy Jain of Studio Mumbai.
The architect’s collaborative approach views
nature and human as two parts of a whole,
and his vision for MPavilion emphasises the
opportunities that communal spaces provide
us to discover the world and ourselves within it.
Presented with Naomi Milgrom Foundation
With a careful understanding of the elemental
foundations upon which shared structures
are built, Studio Mumbai will draw upon local
resources and knowledge to transform space
into place.
MPavilion is a meeting place and ideas
space that hosts a free program of talks,
performances, debates and encounters each
spring and summer.
