Melbourne’s Dancehouse
presents the second edition of
Dance Territories, a biennial
event showcasing boundarypushing works of contemporary
choreography. Two programs pair
works by local and international
choreographers in a charged
collision of dance, highlighting
different approaches to similar
subject matter.
‘The Sacred and the Profane’ sees
Tony Yap and Yumi Umiumare
perform their exploration of
nothingness, Zero, Zero, alongside a
playful work by Nicole Mossoux and
Patrick Bonté (Compagnie MossouxBonté) featuring three obsessive
coffee drinkers.
‘Rituals of Now’ pairs the world
premiere of Linda Luke’s multimedia
work Still Point Turning, inspired
