Acclaimed international performer Shantala Shivalingappa leads a cast of 14 musicians, singers and dancers, bringing to life an inspired blend of spoken word, razor-sharp choreography and stunning original live music. Beginning with the elemental question of identity – ‘Who am I?’ – Parker’s work expands to range across the entire history of humanity, from the genesis of life to the fall of empires. Fuelled by an inspired score from composer Nick Wales that weaves together musical traditions from across the globe, AM I burrows to the very heart of what it is to be human.
