Ben RUBINSTEIN Digital Marketing Specialist at Gannett Detroit, Michigan Ben Rubinstein is a 2008 graduate who recently moved back to Michigan after spending four years working for Macmillan Publishing and Tor Books in New York City. Rubinstein then worked as a marketing and communications associate within the Wayne State University Press in Detroit, but is now a digital marketing specialist for Gannett. Rubinstein enjoys each of his positions in publishing: “It’s a great feeling when you cold e-mail someone with a story idea, hear back that they’re interested, and then see the story go live.” “It’s a great feeling when you cold e-mail someone with a story idea, hear back that they’re interested, and then see the story go live.” As a student, Rubinstein thoroughly enjoyed all of the classes he took with the Professional Writing faculty. He believes the best part of the PW program is the diversity of training that exists in each class.
