Drifter Rigging is an automation rental house that specializes in touring, arena, and event rigging and load monitoring. Production veteran Mark “Drifter” Desloges launched the company in the spring of 2017 with the aim of offering the Canadian market access to the most widely-used automation products for mid- to higher-range produc- tions. The company’s first formal job was the extensive automation for the 2017 Calgary Stampede’s Grandstand stage, featuring Drifter Rigging’s Kinesys Elevation 1+ variable speed chain hoists and Libra load cells. The new website features videos and photos of demos and projects, as well as rental, project, and contact information. For more information, go to www.drifterrigging.com.
