Adamson IS7p & IS10p Point-Source Loudspeakers
Adamson Systems Engineering has introduced the IS7p and IS10p , a pair of new point source additions to its IS-Series of install-focused loudspeaker products . The IS7p and IS10p put Adamson ’ s tour-grade technology into an architecturally-friendly package with rugged and unobtrusive rigging solutions .
The IS7p is a two-way point source cabinet with two ND7-LM16 7-in . Kevlar low-mid drivers ( 2 x 16 Ω ) and one NH3-8 1.4-in . exit compression driver ( 8 Ω ). The IS10p is a two-way point source cabinet containing two ND10-LM 10-in . Kevlar low-mid drivers ( 2 x 16 Ω ) and again one NH3-8 1.4-in . exit compression driver ( 8 Ω ).
Both loudspeakers feature newly-designed waveguides , which have been refined through boundary element analysis ( BEM ). The rotatable waveguides are available with nominal dispersion patterns of 70 x 40 degrees or 100 x 50 degrees , respectively , and ensure a smooth transition from on- to off-axis positions , delivering natural sound without diffraction or lobing .

ProCo Sound AoD Output Module
ProCo Sound is now shipping its AoD Output Module , which is designed to ensure studio-quality , low-latency audio transport over any Dante network .
The AoD Output Module features a Dante audio input and two channels of analog output from an aluminum extrusion housing . Its uncomplicated design allows the AoD Output Modules to easily connect with any Dante network . The module comes equipped with hand soldered , 3-ft . analog audio tails and two analog audio outputs , including one RJ45 Dante input and using two Neutrik NC3MXX series XLR analog outputs .
The AoD Output Modules use the highest quality D-to-A converters , support 44.1 , 48 , and 96 kHz sample rates , and up to 24-bit depths . The modules use Power over Ethernet ( PoE ), with power sourced through standard Ethernet cable via a PoE capable network switch . The free Dante Controller software provides accurate configuration of device names , channel labels , signal routing , sample rates , and latency .

Calrec RP1 Remote Production Unit
Calrec has launched the RP1 remote production unit , which addresses broadcasters ’ need for high-quality content from remote locations .
The RP1 consists of a 2U core that contains integrated FPGA-based DSP , enabling a console surface at another facility to control all mixing functionality . The RP1 core manages all the processing for IFB routing and remote monitor mixes , and it does so locally with no latency . This level of integration and remote control makes it simpler for any remote mix engineer to set up IFB mixes and eradicates any delay for remote listeners or presenters .
The RP1 core quickly embeds audio into existing video-transport mechanisms , while its modular I / O backbone accepts any of Calrec ’ s I / O cards . This means the RP1 can connect via analog , AES , MADI , SDI , and the latest AoIP solutions such as AES67 , Ravenna , and Dante .
