Adamson IS7 Line Array Cabinet & IS118 Subwoofer
Adamson Systems Engineering has introduced the integration-focused IS-Series of loudspeakers, which initially includes the IS7 line array
cabinet and IS118 subwoofer.
The IS7 is a two-way, full-range line array cabinet containing two ND7-X5 7-in. neodymium drivers and an NH3 1.4-in. exit compression driver.
The critically optimized waveguide produces a slightly curved wavefront with a nominal dispersion pattern of 100 x 12.5 degrees (H x V). The
waveguide’s efficiency allows for increased vertical dispersion without sacrificing high frequency presence in the far field while the Controlled
Summation Technology further eliminates the low-mid lobing normally associated with two-way line source systems.
The companion IS118 subwoofer features a lightweight, long excursion 18-in. ND18-S Kevlar neodymium driver that uses Adamson’s Ad-
vanced Cone Architecture and a 4-in. voice coil for increased power handling. It is mounted in a front-loaded enclosure designed to reproduce
clean, musical low-frequency information.

Primacoustic Broadway Honeycomb
Acoustic Panels
Primacoustic has expanded its Broadway range with the Honeycomb acoustic
absorbers that are designed to give users more aesthetic options in their re-
cording spaces. Rather than being limited to the typical square and rectangular
panels found in most studios, the hexagonal shape and beveled edges allow
the panels to be installed in unique patterns and clusters.
Primary reflections and flutter echo can be controlled with an acoustic
treatment layout that is personalized to the space. The 16-in. Honeycombs are
1.5 in. thick and are constructed from 6-lb. high density glass wool for broad-
band absorption. As with all Primacoustic panels, the Honeycombs have been
tested to achieve Class-A fire ratings. The Honeycomb absorbers are available
in black, grey, or beige Broadway acoustic fabric, or in Primacoustic’s proprietary
Paintables white finish.
