Sensaphonics 3D-U Universal Fit IEMs
Sensaphonics has expanded its Active Ambient line with the 3D-U universal-fit earphones . These models offer the full functionality of the 3D AARO system , bringing Sensaphonics ’ Active Ambient technology to shared-use applications such as sound rental and houses of worship .
Available in crossover-free single- and dual-driver versions , the 3D-U earphones use the same proprietary full-range drivers and embedded binaural microphone system found in Sensaphonics 3D Custom IEMs . The 3D-U also marks the introduction of the SensaQuad quadraxial cable , which plugs in securely like a coaxial , with four conductors to deliver both the monitor mix and ambient audio . This allows for full situational awareness because the ambient earphones capture sound around the user at levels up to 140dB with no distortion , sending it to the 3D system ’ s compact bodypack mixer , where it is combined with the monitor feed .

Acoustica Mixcraft Pro Studio 8
Acoustica has released version eight of its Mixcraft Pro Studio software for mixing and mastering .
Mixcraft Pro Studio 8 features integration with Celemony ’ s Melodyne vocal tuning software by putting Melodyne Essential directly into Mixcraft ’ s clip sound edit window and eliminating audio “ transfers .” It also comes with a number of mastering plug-ins , including the iZotope Mastering Essentials suite .
Users can EQ with TB Parametric EQ or GSXL4070 Parametric , replicating the equalizer section of the mixing console . Creators can also add analog tape compression and punch with Ferox Tape Emulator and make dance remixes with the SideKick6 Sidechaining Compressor .
Mixcraft 8 Pro Studio also offers tube-modeled effects with the Pentode Audio Series featuring the VTC-1 Vacuum Tube Compressor , TRW-1 Vacuum Tube Triode Warmer , PSEQ-1 Vacuum Tube Passive EQ , and VBE-1 Vacuum Tube Bass Enhancer . Treblecream smooths harsh high frequencies while FAT + combines analog warmth , vacuum-tube distortion , and tape saturation into one effect .

Drawmer MPA-90 Monitor Power Amplifier
Drawmer Electronics has released the MPA-90 two-channel class D monitor power amplifier . Built in England , it is ideal for pairing with small passive loudspeakers like the Auratone 5Cs .
It features a small dual monoblock design with a tabletop or rack mountable footprint that is capable of delivering 90 W per channel ( into 4 ohms ) or 180 W bridged with no fan .
Switching the Drawmer MPA-90 from stereo to mono bridged is done by flicking a switch and using the mono loudspeaker jack . Its inputs are either balanced XLR or unbalanced phono to cover the two universes of gear . It features thermal , overload , and power-up / power-down protection and front-panel standby , fault , and clip indicator LEDs . McDSP EC-300 Echo Collection Plug-In
McDSP has released the EC-300 Echo Collection plug-in , which puts the sound of dozens of echo and chorus effects into one plug-in . The three delay types – Magnetic , Digital , and Analog – come with a collection of user controls , an array of character modes , and stylized visual feedback .
Each EC-300 delay type comes with additional character modes to create new and unique sounds . Other delay features include adjustable saturation , wow and flutter , delay output ducking , in-loop filtering and EQ , and level control at the input and output stages . The EC-300 can operate in single , dual , and ping-pong modes and delay time can be synced to session playback or to a tapped tempo .
